Beautiful jungle, many animals, competent guide Our guide Yimmy tried very hard to spot as many animals as possible for us! And despite the poor state of many roads we never felt unsafe on the bus. The food was good and plenty.

True immersive Amazon experience I so enjoyed the Iquitos 3 day tour into the Amazon and I would highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived at the airport to the time we were dropped back for our departing flight, we were looked after brilliantly. Jorge/George, our wonderful and highly experienced guide, taught us so much about this remarkable region and gave us a fascinating insight into this extraordinary part of the world. We saw a wide variety of wildlife including sloths, tree bats, tarantulas (not too close!), dolphins, so many different types of birds...the list goes on and on. Jose and his family own and run the Yanayacu Lodge, and gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. It is basic lodging so if air con and crisp white sheets are your thing, perhaps this isn't for you. However, if you're after a true immersive Amazon experience for a few days with an excellent guide whilst staying with a lovely family, this is the one!

Nice tour I enjoyed the 4 day Amazon tour and had some nice experiences and sightings of nature and wildlife. I would recommend although I find the price of 300$ a bit too high. The time could have been better filled with more activities, or more exciting and longer ones, and sometimes there could have been more food.

Beautiful Experience Loved it. Jimi was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable. We hit Pisaq, which was my favorite, Ollantaytambo & those ruins were amazing. It was my birthday & at lunch they had the restaurant make it a whole thing, which was sweet. We also hit the salt mines, & lots of other places, too many to remember. Overall great experience

The Inca Trail was a tough, demanding, and undoubtedly unforgettable experience. We were a group of seven friends, and during the adventure, we were also fortunate enough to share the trail with four Germans, with whom we formed a great team.

Much of our enjoyment of the challenge was thanks to our guide, Dario. He not only accompanied us throughout the trek but also brought us closer to the culture and history of the Inca Trail in a way that made each stage much more meaningful.

We also want to give special thanks to Fredy, our second guide, who was always attentive and, along with Dario, ensured our safety and comfort at all times.

But above all, we want to say a few words to the 13 porters who made our expedition possible. Their effort, kindness, and dedication deeply impressed us. Without them, completing the Inca Trail would not have been possible. We have immense admiration and respect for the entire team that worked behind the scenes on this experience.

And we can't forget our amazing cook, who ensured we regained our strength each day by preparing delicious, hearty, and comforting meals. After each day's trek, finding a meal like that was a true reward.

All the equipment provided by the company was in excellent condition and perfectly suited to the challenge: spacious tents, comfortable sleeping mats, and cold-weather sleeping bags that kept us warm at night.

We returned home with incredible memories and, above all, with profound admiration for everyone who made this experience possible. Thank you to the entire team for accompanying us, taking care of us, and making this Inca Trail an experience we will never forget.

We did 3 trips with this organisation and we can recommend all of them. The first one was a four day trip to the Jungle. It was amazing, our group was small (only 6 people and we were 4 of them). Our guide Josef (José) was really great and he shared tons of informations. We also saw a lot of animals, but that is obviously luck. Our other trips were a tour to maras and moray and a hike to the lake Humantay. They were also really nice and we enjoyed them a lot. Briefing, organization and transport were perfect and we never worried about a thing. The guides were all very knowledgeable. We would definitely book with them again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The lodge is beautifully situated, and you can even observe animals from the lodge during the day. The activities are fantastic, and the guides, Ivan and Carlos, are very knowledgeable about the animals, plants, and local culture. There's also time to relax and enjoy some downtime without any activities. We declined the sport fishing activity for animal welfare reasons, and the guides immediately offered us an alternative. Excellent! The food was also good. Overall, a truly wonderful experience.

I had an excellent experience with Peru Jungle Trips!
I was in Cusco and wanted to visit the jungle originally thinking Tambopata, overwhelmed with options. My desire was to visit the Amazon and be deep in the jungle with few people. I walked into the office and met Pedro who talked with me for over half an hour explaining different options. Ultimately, Pedro told me that Manu National Park is the place to be in the jungle with few people. Pedro helped me book a 6 day tour in Manu National Park 2 days later.
It is hard to describe how special Manu national park was. The trees, the wildlife, the river, seeing uncontacted Natives, and hearing all of the jungle sounds.
I would not have experienced Manu National Park without Pedro and Peru Jungle Trips.
    I highly recommend this business!
Also thank you Celia for your kindness and the Poncho :)

Pedro recommended the tour to Machu Picchu via Hydroelectrica route understanding my preference to hike whenever possible. He listened to my questions and came up with the appropriate advice. Not only that, Pedro is very knowledgeable of Inca history and relevant places of interest around Cusco. Thanks to Pedro - I was able to visit Saqsaywaman, Temple of the Moon and Kusilluchayoc!

A great experience without a doubt. I took the 7 day tour to the reserved area of the manu and it was fantastic. The guide was very friendly, the cook always made good food and all the drivers/crew were very professional.

In the reserve we could find many types of fauna and the guide gave information at all times and knew many species.
Excellent tour (4 days, 3 nights) including the first morning at the Belén market. Very friendly. They fulfilled the itinerary with some flexibility and accommodated some minor requests we had. The accommodations are simple and have electricity and internet a couple of hours a day, but most of the time you'll be exploring the surrounding area, almost always by motorboat. Kevin, our guide, was pleasant and interesting; definitely a recommended experience.
If you’re looking for more than just a trip, and want to feel the energy of the Amazon while being guided by someone who truly embodies the spirit of the land, ask for Kevin.

From the moment I arrived in Peru, Peru Jungle Trips made everything feel effortless and personal. Pedro, the owner, greeted me at the airport with a warm, open energy that immediately set the tone for the rest of the journey. He thoughtfully organized both parts of my trip, first to Cusco and Machu Picchu, then deep into the Amazon jungle, handling every detail with care, sincerity.

What made it even more special was the consistency throughout the experience. Every driver and guide I encountered shared the same heartfelt energy. They were easy to find, always on time, and carried a calm presence that helped everything feel aligned. It allowed me to move through the journey with ease and actually enjoy the experience without stressing over logistics.

Then there was Kevin, my guide in the jungle, who took the experience to another level. With a sacred presence and deep knowledge of the land, he didn’t just show me the jungle, he helped me connect with it. He was a kind and gentle spirit, who was fully present. His guidance felt personal and grounded.

Peru Jungle Trips is more than a travel service. It is an experience curated by people who genuinely care. I’m grateful to have found it, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something meaningful and real❤️

My girlfriend and I spent 4 days and 3 nights in the Amazon with Peru Jungle Trips. We couldn't recommend them highly enough, every day was a truly unique experience from fishing for piranha and having them for lunch, feeding and hanging out with monkeys, learning about the medicinal properties of the plants and swimming in the amazon river near pink dolphins. The food at the lodge is amazing, they catered to my girlfriends vegetarian diet perfectly, and the atmosphere there is fantastic. The accommodation itself was great, very clean and comfortable and their hospitality really made you feel welcome. Our guide, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to us and was flexible with his plans based on the weather and what we wanted to do. You must visit

We had an amazing experience with Peru Jungle Trips! One thing that stood out to us was that during our tour of Belen market, they allowed us to buy fresh fish to be cooked at the lodge! Our guide Jorge was very enthusiastic and friendly, and he made our excursion from the lodge very enjoyable and informative. The lodge itself was very nice for how remote it was, with showers, WiFi access, and three tasty meals a day (including ones cooked with the ingredients we’d bought)! We also had the chance to get up close to sloths, monkeys, alligators, and even an anaconda! Unfortunately, my son got a middle ear infection and we had to leave early, but Jorge and the lodge manager, Jose, took incredibly good care of us by getting a speed boat back to Iquitos, accompanied us as a translator in the clinic, drove us around to find the prescription medication, and set us up with a hotel recommendation. They told us to contact them with our plans and were willing to accommodate us whether we wanted to do anything the next day or needed to be driven to the airport to fly out. The concern and consideration they showed was far beyond my expectations, and my son and I are immensely grateful to them for it. We 100% recommend them if you want a great experience in the Amazon, and would definitely tour with them again to complete our interrupted stay!!

We spent three nights and four days in Manu National Park. The entire organization was just perfect. Everyone, truly everyone, went out of their way to make our jungle trip an absolute highlight. It was clear from the way our guides, Abel and Raul, conducted themselves that they are passionate about their work and eager to share this passion with the visitors. They love the jungle and aim to protect it while showing it to others. The chef cooks with such passion and is visibly interested in whether the visitors enjoy his food. He cooks a variety of healthy and incredibly tasty meals. Keep it up, everyone! The bus driver is very pleasant, navigates the serpentine roads very safely, and always keeps an eye out to scout for animals. Ultimately, you feel like part of a small family. You are a team. I highly recommend this team. Thank you, dear team, for the unforgettable days with you!
