Terms & Conditions
By booking any tour program or travel service with Peru Jungle Trips E.I.R.L., Tax ID (RUC): 20609677768 (hereinafter referred to as “Peru Jungle Trips”), the passenger declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Payment for a reservation constitutes full acceptance of these provisions and creates a contractual relationship between the passenger and Peru Jungle Trips.

Booking & Confirmation
- Standard deposit: A 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation (unless specific exceptions apply).
- Last-minute bookings: Require 100% payment if made less than 72 hours before departure.
- Special cases (Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail): Due to strict ticket availability and purchasing policies, these reservations must be made 2 to 4 months in advance because of high demand and limited ticket availability.
- Confirmation: The reservation is only valid once Peru Jungle Trips has received your payment and sent you a written confirmation.
- Guarantee: Your payment secures all services included in your program (transportation, accommodation, entrance fees, etc.).
Payment Methods
- Accepted payment methods: WeTravel, bank transfer, authorized credit/debit cards, and cash (USD or PEN).
- Fees and charges: The customer is responsible for all bank fees, credit card charges, transfer costs, and currency conversion fees.
- Payment of the remaining balance: The outstanding balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before the start of the tour (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
- Guaranteed prices: The prices agreed upon at the time of booking confirmation are fixed and will not be subject to any subsequent changes.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the company’s official email ([email protected]) or WhatsApp (+51 998 134 635).
Refunds for General Tours
Conditions for Special Destinations
- Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail: Entrance tickets, train tickets, and permits are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified. Their cost will be deducted from any applicable general refund.
- Manu: Permits and reservations are non-refundable. Mandatory itinerary changes due to weather conditions or government authorities are not eligible for refunds.
- Pacaya Samiria, Tambopata, and Iquitos: Cancellations are subject to a penalty of up to 75%. (Certain programs require 100% payment at the time of booking.)
Unused Services & Tour Abandonment
- No refunds will be issued for voluntarily unused services, partial cancellations, or if you leave the tour after it has started.
- In the event of voluntary withdrawal, the passenger is responsible for 100% of any additional expenses related to return transportation, transfers, and accommodation.
Changes and Cancellations by the Company
Peru Jungle Trips reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, routes, accommodations, or services due to circumstances beyond its control (force majeure), offering similar alternatives whenever possible.
Situations that may cause changes:
- Natural events: Adverse weather, natural disasters, or public health emergencies.
- Social conflicts: Strikes, road blockades, or government restrictions.
- Operational issues: Technical failures or other force majeure events.
Note: If the cancellation of the service is solely the responsibility of Peru Jungle Trips, the corresponding amount for the services not provided will be refunded.
Passenger Responsibilities
It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to:
- Have a valid passport or identity document.
- Comply with all immigration and health requirements.
- Arrive on time at the scheduled meeting times.
- Inform us of any relevant medical condition before the tour begins.
- Assess whether they are physically fit to participate in the planned activities.
- Follow the instructions of the tour guide and staff.
The company is not responsible for the loss of services resulting from delays or cancellations of flights, trains, or buses operated by third parties.
Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
Participating in activities in natural environments such as jungles, mountains, or rivers involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
What risks should you consider?
- Natural environment: Adverse weather conditions, rising river levels, landslides, or challenging terrain.
- Wildlife: Possible insect stings or bites from animals.
- Logistics: In remote areas, medical evacuation may be delayed.
- Unforeseen situations: Accidents, injuries, or other incidents associated with adventure activities.
Your commitment as a passenger: By booking our services, you declare that you are in the necessary physical and health condition to participate. You also voluntarily accept the inherent risks associated with the scheduled activities.
Guide Authority
The decisions made by the guide or an authorized representative of Peru Jungle Trips shall be final in all matters related to the safety, well-being, and proper operation of the tour.
The company reserves the right to remove, without the right to a refund, any passenger whose behavior poses a risk to themselves, other participants, or the normal operation of the tour.
The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited during any of our programs.
Travel Insurance
Our programs do not include travel insurance. We strongly recommend purchasing one that covers:
- Personal accidents.
- Medical expenses.
- Emergency evacuation.
- Rescue services.
- Repatriation.
- Cancellations.
- Lost or damaged luggage.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, our programs do not include travel insurance.
Third-Party Services
Peru Jungle Trips directly operates part of the services included in a program, but also makes arrangements with airlines, hotels, and other independent third parties to provide the travel services you purchase. We take all reasonable measures to ensure that service providers maintain our quality standards. However, these parties are independent suppliers over whom we do not have complete direct control. Therefore, Peru Jungle Trips cannot accept any responsibility for losses, damages, inconveniences, delays, etc.
Code of Conduct
All passengers must respect:
- Local communities.
- Archaeological sites and sacred places.
- Protected natural areas.
- Safety rules established by the guides.
- Current Peruvian legislation.
Disrespectful, dangerous, or illegal behavior may result in immediate removal from the tour without the right to a refund.
The use of drones is subject to prior authorization from the competent authorities.
Privacy & Data Protection
The personal information provided by the customer will only be used for reservation purposes, operation of the contracted services, legal compliance, and communication with the passenger.
Peru Jungle Trips will not sell or share personal information with third parties, except when necessary for the provision of the contracted services or when required by law.
- Image use: We may use photos or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes, unless you inform us in writing that you do not wish to participate.
Claims & Jurisdiction
- Immediate reports: Any inconvenience must be reported at the time to the guide or our office so that we can find a quick solution.
- Subsequent complaints: Must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days after the end of the tour.

- Jurisdiction: Any dispute shall be resolved under the laws of the Republic of Peru and submitted to the courts of the city of Cusco. The company’s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the passenger.
Changes to the Terms & Conditions
Peru Jungle Trips may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published through our official channels and will take effect from the date of publication.
