Spread in over 325.9 km2, Machu Picchu, one of the new seven world wonders, is an unmissable attraction in South America. This mysterious Inca city comprises alluring architecture that leaves most visitors stunned.
Often travelers choose to hike to Machu Picchu through the Salkantay Trail or the esteemed Inca Trail. We have compiled this itinerary to offer the best and the most to those wanting to soak in the history and views of this alluring Inca masterpiece without having to spend a day away from Cusco.
At Peru Jungle Trips, we take pride in working with local tour guides. They have an in-depth knowledge about the Inca civilization and Andean traditions. Our dedicated Machu Picchu Tour guides have guided over a thousand tours in the citadel. They are aware of each and every corner of Machu Picchu.
Join us in a group or as a solo traveler to uncover the mysteries of the Machu Picchu, on our exclusive 1 Day Machu Picchu Tour from Cusco.
Although the Inca citadel is open to visitors every day, we highly recommend planning your trip between March and November. During this period often the skies are clear and you will get clear views of the Inca citadel and its surroundings.
During the rainy season however, the peaks are often covered under a blanket of clouds. This makes it somewhat challenging to marvel at the beauty of the lost city of the Incas.
