Itinerary

Departure from Cusco

We’ll pick you up between 7:30 and 8:00 am from your hotel or a designated meeting point to begin our luxurious vehicle journey to Machu Picchu.

As we travel through the Sacred Valley, you’ll experience diverse towns and the climate changes of the Andes Mountain Range, ending in the lush tropical regions.

Our first stop is Huaman Marca, where a delightful buffet lunch awaits. Following lunch, we’ll drive to Hidroelectrica, marking the start of our hike to the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes.

This trek promises stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our knowledgeable guide will accompany you to your hotel for a comfortable night’s stay and a delicious dinner.

The next morning, your guide will outline the itinerary for the following day before you indulge in a relaxing soak in the hot springs (S./5), should you choose to do so.

Machu Picchu

We’ll commence our hike to Aguas Calientes at 4:00 AM (or optionally take a bus for USD 12 – one way), which will take approximately an hour and a half.

We aim to enter the citadel early to witness the clearing clouds as the first rays of daylight illuminate the Inca citadel, Machu Picchu.

Led by our certified guide, you’ll have a two-hour guided tour exploring the significance of each area within the citadel. Afterwards, you’ll have time to stroll, take photos, or opt for a hike up Huayna Picchu or visiting Machu Picchu Mountain (additional tickets required).

Around 11:30 am, we’ll return on foot to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we’ll catch the 1:20 pm train to Hidroelectrica. Our transport will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco.
