What Clothing Should I Bring to Manu National Park?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions from our travelers, and without a doubt we know why — the climate and the flora and fauna!. Although there are rumors about the most dangerous animals in the Amazon or the various diseases, we want to tell you that none of that will prevent you from enjoying your trip if you wear these garments!.

  • Quick-dry clothing, the climate is quite warm, tropical, and humid. Bring quick-dry clothing such as long-sleeve shirts or t-shirts — and easily avoid mosquitoes!.
  • Wear long pants in neutral tones to protect yourself from the sun without feeling suffocated.
  • Bring long socks (yes, the kind that look like soccer socks) because in several areas you will need to wear tall boots. There is nothing better than long, protective socks!.
  • A good rain jacket is always necessary, the weather in Manu National Park is beautiful — and sometimes a little unpredictable!.
  • Wear comfortable sandals, especially if you want to relax at our eco-lodge.
  • River shoes that you have already used before.
  • Swimsuit — in case you want to swim in the river!.

Your connection with the wild begins here, book your next adventure with us.
